Portrait of Gregor Jeffrey, keynote speaker, executive advisor and founder of Cognitive Dynamics, standing in front of a white breeze-block wall on the Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Gregor Jeffrey works with senior leaders and organizations across North America, exploring how differences in thinking influence communication, decision-making, leadership, and human performance.

Across hundreds of engagements, Gregor became known for a rare ability - accurately identifying the invisible cognitive structures driving perception and performance. The frameworks that emerged from that work became the practice of Cognitive Influence.

Where the work comes from

Defence, intelligence and a recurring pattern

Gregor's career began in Canada's defence sector and in Silicon Valley, before he went on to support strategic programs for the UK Ministry of Defence, British intelligence agencies, and NATO Special Operations Forces.

In each of those environments the same pattern kept appearing. Many of the difficulties organizations attribute to personality, motivation, or culture turn out to be cognitive in origin. People process information differently, prioritize different forms of evidence, and arrive at understanding by different paths.

Framework

Cognitive Spectrum Theory

Cognitive Spectrum Theory is Gregor's original framework behind the assessments, facilitation methods, and advisory work Gregor uses today, and the basis of the practice he calls Cognitive Influence.

Today

Advisory rooms and the keynote stage

Through Cognitive Dynamics, Gregor works directly with C-suite executives and senior leadership teams, combining his proprietary methodologies with executive facilitation, strategic advisory, and keynote speaking.

Recognition

Named Speaker of the Year by TEC Canada
